Helping people figuring out possible ways to deal with their Acid Reflux and Reflux related conditions. Not an Expert. No Medical advice. Consult with your healthcare provider.
About refluxfree.com
Hey there,
I’m really glad you’ve found your way here.
If you’re reading this, chances are you’re dealing with the daily struggle of GERD, chronic Acid Reflux, Heartburn, LPR (Silent Reflux), or another reflux related condition, just like I was. In my case, LPR. I remember how tough it was—the discomfort after every meal, the endless search for something that would actually help.
But I want you to know, you’re not alone.
I’ve been on this journey for a while now, and while I’m not completely symptom-free, I’ve managed to improve my situation by about 90%. It’s been a long road, and I’m still learning, but I’m committed to helping others who are going through the same thing.
I’m not a doctor, and what I share here comes from my own experiences. It’s not medical advice, so please, if you’re considering any changes to your treatment, talk to your healthcare provider first. Reflux is such a personal thing—what works for one person might not work for another, and it’s important to find what’s right for you.
I genuinely believe there’s a solution out there for you. Keep going, and don’t lose hope. You can and will feel better.
Wishing you all the best on your journey,
Josef
This blog / website is very rough. There is no polish, little editing, and worry about how it looks.
It is a storage of information in a research process, and possibly a place of discussing ideas and findings, that needs to be determined. If interested, feel free to reach out to josef@refluxsummit.com
I also want to clarify, the name www.refluxfree.com is not a promise, definitely no medical advice or guidance how you could become reflux free. Please consult with specialized health care providers to get individualized guidance and treatment.
It definitely is a wish, and a goal to work towards, an idea, to help as many people as possible to get reflux free, and fully get their life back.
There is not one fits all solution, and reflux is a very individual thing. It took me months and years to find out what works for me, and I wish to find out some blueprints, that together with professional health practitioners can help people to find out what is the best possible way for their personal condition.
My goal is to help others on their journey to becoming reflux-free, though I’m not an expert—just someone who’s been there and has questions.
This site came about, as I noticed that so much of my research for speakers and topics for the Refluxsummit are worth to collect and share somewhere. Here we are. Welcome. Thank you. May it be helpful for you. Feel free to reach out. josef@refluxsummit.com
Thank you for being here. I hope you find it helpful.
Vision
Start this as a crude, simple and straightforward space to capture, share and develop findings and ideas about diagnosing, managing, treating and potentially heal Acid Reflux, GERD, Silent Reflux (LPR) and other reflux relating conditions, and develop it in quantity and quality over time.
Create in the longterm a comprehensive collection of peer reviewed by doctors and researchers, overview of helpful articles, and a glossary, empowering patients in their way to work with medical practitioners and take lifestyle choices that are helpful for them to resolve their Acid Reflux related conditions.
Mission
Be honest, be critical, be true, be clear.
There is no favor here for medical treatment, for surgical treatment, for lifestyle treatment or complimentary medicine approaches to resolve Acid Reflux and Reflux related conditions as GERD and LPR. Every approach has it´s merits, and might help some people.
Some approaches are more researched and mainstream, work for many, but not for all. Some are not very widely applied, but help some, and might be the right fit for some. The important question is always, what works for whom and why.
Thank you for joining on this journey.
May it be helpful for you!
